Compact Electric Orange vs. Other SunPatiens®

Compact Electric Orange is the most energetic color in the Compact Series, delivering eye-catching neon orange blooms that read hot and bright even from a distance. Compared to Compact Fire Red, it feels more playful and vibrant, trading depth for pure saturation. Its color stands out more aggressively than Tropical Rose and Purple Candy, especially in high-sun landscapes where softer tones can wash out. In high visibility areas, Compact Electric Orange consistently outperforms softer colors by maintaining its intensity from planting day through peak Summer heat.

Growth remains tight and controlled, similar to the rest of the Compact varieties, but visually it appears louder due to the bloom color. Against Compact Hot Pink, Electric Orange feels warmer and more summery, with less contrast against green foliage but stronger pop in mass plantings.
