More About Bacopa ‘MegaCopa™ Pink’
Bacopa ‘MegaCopa™ Pink’ is a premium trailing bacopa bred for larger flowers, stronger growth, and improved heat tolerance compared to standard varieties. Its soft pink blooms are noticeably bigger and more vibrant, creating a fuller, more colorful cascade that holds up beautifully throughout the season.
Part of the MegaCopa™ series, this variety was selected for vigor and reliability. Unlike traditional bacopa that can thin out or stall in summer heat, ‘MegaCopa™ Pink’ continues flowering steadily, maintaining a lush, trailing habit without the need for constant deadheading.
Why We Like It (Our Trials)
In our trials, ‘MegaCopa™ Pink’ has been exceptionally dependable in containers and baskets, especially in sunny locations. With consistent moisture and light feeding, it quickly fills space and produces a continuous flush of blooms from spring through fall.
We especially like how easy it is to design with. It works perfectly as a spiller in mixed containers, pairs well with bold foliage and upright annuals, and softens edges in raised beds and borders. The flowers are self-cleaning, and the plant stays tidy with minimal maintenance.
Bacopa ‘MegaCopa™ Pink’ vs. Other Bacopa
For gardeners who want dramatic color impact and abundant bloom, MegaCopa™ Pink is one of the standout choices in the group. Compared to the more restrained Scopia® Gulliver Series, MegaCopa Pink delivers larger flowers and a more vigorous, freely trailing habit. While the Gulliver varieties are known for their controlled growth and tidy branching, MegaCopa Pink pushes outward with bold pink blossoms that create a lush, eye-catching effect in hanging baskets and larger containers.
Compared to MegaCopa White, the Pink selection brings a warmer, more vibrant tone that pairs beautifully with complementary warm hues and bold foliage plants. The larger blooms and heavier flowering of the MegaCopa™ series give both MegaCopa White and Pink a more substantial presence than the smaller, more refined Scopia Gulliver selections.
