Veronica liwanensis, commonly known as Turkish Speedwell, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial celebrated for its dense carpet of glossy green, teardrop-shaped leaves. In late spring to early summer, it produces an abundance of cobalt blue flowers, creating a striking ground cover. The foliage often takes on purplish hues in hot sun and retains its color during winter, providing year-round interest. This drought-tolerant plant is ideal for rock gardens, between stepping stones, or as a lawn substitute in sunny locations.
