Veggie Course Class 3 - Maintaining & Harvesting the Garden August 17th, 9:30am

In this class we will explore:

• Common problems in the garden
• Pest pressure, weeds & disease
• Pesticide solutions (organic and synthetic)
• Mulching and watering needs
• Best tools for the job
• Proper harvesting time and techniques
• Proper storage
• Recipes and how to use your harvest
• Basic preserving, canning, freezing, and dehydrating
• Preparing your garden space for the next season
• Basics of seed saving

All courses taught at Martin Garden Center's "Camelot" Classroom, 200 Martin Road, Greenville, SC 29607. Follow signs for Veggie Class.

There are no risks. We want to rest any fears you might have about ordering live plants online. That is why we give you thirty (30) days to return any plant that you are not completely "over the moon" about or you simply changed your mind or the plant did not meet your standard of quality. Please note, the care of the plant is completely your responsibility while in your possession. We thank you for understanding that we need the plants returned in top condition.
