More About Vinca ‘Titan™ Cranberry’
Vinca ‘Titan™ Cranberry’ is part of the Titan Series, selected for its larger flowers, consistent habit, and reliable summer performance. The cranberry-red blooms provide strong color impact without fading, even during extended periods of heat.
Plants maintain a tidy, mounded form that stays uniform across plantings, making this variety especially effective in mass beds and clean landscape designs.
Why We Like It (Our Trials)
In trials, ‘Titan™ Cranberry’ delivered steady bloom coverage and excellent color retention under full sun. Plants remained balanced and floriferous through hot, dry stretches with minimal intervention. We value it as a classic, high-impact vinca where dependable structure and bold color are priorities.
Titan™ Cranberry vs. Other Vinca
Titan™ Cranberry sits comfortably between bright red and deep burgundy within the Titan™ Series, offering a balanced, adaptable tone. Compared to Titan™ Really Red, it reads richer and slightly darker, with more depth and less flash. Against Titan™ Burgundy, it maintains greater brightness and clarity, preventing plantings from feeling too heavy. This middle-ground character allows it to pair easily with both warm and cool companions. That versatility is what makes it one of the most flexible colors in the Titan lineup.
Compared to the Cora® Series, Titan™ Cranberry delivers noticeably larger blooms and stronger vertical presence than most Cora® red-toned selections. The closest Cora® comparison is Cora® Cascade XDR Punch, which tends to read more pink-forward and less saturated in mass plantings. Titan™ Cranberry, by contrast, holds its color with more weight and definition. I reach for Titan™ Cranberry when I want depth and richness without going fully dark.
