More About Lantana ‘Bandana® Peach’

‘Bandana® Peach’ fills a very specific niche in the Lantana world. Instead of loud, high-contrast color, it offers a warm peach tone that feels intentional and curated. The flower clusters open with soft apricot shades and develop hints of coral as they mature, creating gentle variation within each bloom head. It has enough warmth to stand out in full sun, but it never feels brash or overpowering. In mixed plantings, it reads as refined and cohesive rather than flashy.

As part of the Bandana® Series, this variety was selected for tighter internodes, improved branching, and consistent bloom production across every plant. The growth stays compact and symmetrical, forming a rounded mound that looks balanced from every angle. It does not sprawl across neighboring plants or demand constant shaping. Instead, it quietly builds into a uniform, flower-covered cushion that works just as well in decorative containers as it does massed in landscape beds.

Why We Like It (Our Trials)

One season, we planted ‘Bandana® Peach’ in a bed surrounded by deeper reds and purples, expecting it to get lost. Instead, it softened the entire planting and created a transition zone that made the stronger colors feel more intentional. Through weeks of heavy heat and inconsistent rainfall, it kept blooming without pause. We did not deadhead it. We barely touched it. Yet it stayed full, clean, and balanced from early Summer through the first cool nights of Fall.

In another trial, we paired it with silver foliage and airy ornamental grasses, and that is where it really shined. The peach tones caught late afternoon light beautifully, giving the bed a warm glow rather than a harsh glare. Pollinators were constant visitors, especially smaller butterflies that worked the clusters repeatedly throughout the day. It handles heat, humidity, and short dry spells without drama, and it fills space evenly without becoming unruly. For gardeners who want a softer Summer palette with dependable performance, ‘Bandana® Peach’ brings a level of polish that sets it apart from louder varieties.

Bandana® Peach vs. Other Lantana Varieties

Bandana® Peach brings a softer, more nuanced color to the Bandana® Series, blending warm peach and pastel tones that feel lighter and more refined than hotter oranges or reds. Compared to Bandana® Pink, Peach is warmer and more inviting, plus it pairs beautifully with Bandana® Gold or Lemon Zest. It also offers more color subtlety than multi-tone varieties like Cherry Sunrise, which can read bolder from afar.

Compared to Lucky® and Little Lucky™ varieties, Bandana® Peach offers a softer color on a slightly larger, more landscape-oriented plant. Lucky Flame selections stay tighter and bloom earlier, but Bandana® Peach delivers better blending power in garden beds. Peach is an excellent option for gardeners looking to soften a planting without losing the strong flowering and structure the Bandana® Series is known for.
